I am really bad at identifying birds...

What I thought was an orange crowned warbler turned out is most likely a ruby crowned kinglet. Still cant tell the sparrows apart. but i love being outside and watching them even if I can't properly name them!

Here are some pictures from the last week or so.

Ive seen this little mouse running around every so often during the day, and does not seem to really be afraid of me.

A pair of Ospreys have returned to the area and are moving back into the cellphone tower. I keep seeing them with fish but have yet to see them catch any fish.

Ruby-Crowned Kinglet. Ive been chasing this little bird the past few days, wont stay still long enough to get many decent shots.

Turtles

Mallards

Tree Swallows have been checking out the bird house the past few mornings.

Ceder Waxwings

Red Squirrel wanted its picture taken too

Brown Creeper

Great Blue Heron and a Great White Egret

One of the Black Squirrels. I don't know if I have mentioned this but my yard is over run with Black Squirrels. There are probably 4 black squirrels and only 2 Grey Squirrels. When I was a kid (15 years ago) we had a single White Squirrel in the neighborhood. Also I did find a dead black squirrel today not sure how it died, I didn't feel like examining its corpse.

A Sharp-Shinned Hawk or a Coopers Hawk

A Chipmunk who was almost the hawks lunch...

1 of 2 Great White Egrets that are in the marsh today

From the sounds they were making I am fairly certain these are Tundra Swans migrating
